The Neophytic Millennial is a personal blog of the recent convert to Orthodox Christianity, John Jared Foy. Born into a cult in the early '90s, raised in threadbare evangelicalism, and tarrying some while in Reformed Protestantism, Jared Foy was baptized into the One True Faith within the Diocese of the West (OCA) in 2021—taking the name of the Wonderworker John (Maximovitch) of Shanghai and San Francisco fame.

The Neophytic Millennial is a place where John exercises his wits unencumbered. When he is not writing poorly, John enjoys the company of his lovely wife and four young children, practicing his own brand of foolishness, and venerating the Blessed Seraphim of Platina.
